Scotch Ale but we upped the DME for more alcoholic punch. This threw off the balance and it ended up with a sweet maltiness that was probably a bit much.

Overly carbonated, unbalanced maltiness. Its a very good beer but the extra malt really didn't help and didn't fully ferment hence the overcarbonation
