Recipe

30lb pears thru a juicer

Procedure

Make juice, add 1lb sugar (boiled, cooled), pitch yeast
Ferment 7 days

Rack, check gravity, maybe add 1lb sugar
Ferment to completion

Larger jug filled a gallon so leaving to dry out.
Small jug added 1cup water+1lb sugar ~= 4*750mL

While slight both the sweet and dry perry picked up some vinegar notes. I blame the extremely hot fermentation and probably should have washed the pears.

It is tolerable as perry but not great, would probably make a great vinegar.
