note:
made at ecosteve's for meetup demo
steeped at 170F for 30min, naturally cooled. pitched pasteur champagne yeast. Not much mushroom aroma. They may have sat around too long (6-7mo in freezer) or been too few in number. Suspect the former.

note:
clearing up but not happy with clarity. Swirled mead to stir up yeast.
Sadly noticed the water level in the interlock had dropped below the vents meaning there was a straight air path to the mead, not sure if affected.

note:
wet fungi'ed a bottle a couple weeks back w/ ~four 3" mushrooms per 750mL for a nice flavor.
Infused the rest of the mushrooms in vodka and gave to Mystery Brewing

note:
Drank one of the original bottles with Joe Carr - the black trumpet flavor was subtle but definitely present. All around winner.
